Microsoft is reviewing new features for adding custom videos.
Microsoft is developing a PowerPoint version that would allow users to add a new degree of customization to their presentations.
According to Microsoft, the headlining feature, codenamed Cameo, will sit within PowerPoint’s Recording Studio. It will allow you to use a webcam feed to make the video recording of your presentation more personal and create an enchanting narrative experience.
The latest version appears to be aimed at perfectionists. It will allow you to customize your camera feed’s look even before you begin to record it. You can also apply your favorite camera styles, shapes, and sizes to cameo. With all of this, you can also pick the spot on the slide for your camera feed that best complements your presentation.
This new update is now available to Office Insiders who are using Beta Channel Version 2207.
What else is new?
Aside from video upgrades, Microsoft is also testing new features inside PowerPoint to adjust line spacing and edit presentation backdrops with pictures.
PowerPoint users will also have the freedom to add their unique fonts to presentations. The new connections with Microsoft Teams have made virtual presentations much less of a burden.

These are not the only new updates that the Microsoft Office 365 Company has been incorporating into the traditional Productivity suite.
Microsoft also rolled out other features on PowerPoint. The company is testing a few new PowerPoint features with Office Insiders including Cameo, which is available in PowerPoint’s Recording Studio. This enables presenters to change the appearance of their video stream. Office Insiders with iPads may also now modify line spacing within presentations.
Presenters can also utilize Cameo to capture their camera feed and include it in a PowerPoint presentation. This feature makes a group of slides much more personal and allows for more detailed descriptions. Cameo support in Recording Studio offers another degree of customization by allowing you to customize a camera feed, use multiple styles and shapes, and choose where a camera feed displays on a slide.
Microsoft is exploring innovative ways to make its products stand out and compete with programs like Prezi and Google Slides.
