Rather than stumbling around with your mouse or keyboard to bring up the Meeting Stage and then push the Video icon. Now a single click of a button will allow the user to rapidly adjust their video status.
Microsoft claims that the modification will be available for any approved Teams Peripherals. This means that thousands of enterprises around the world would be able to use it. It implies that when the new function when rolled out will only be available to desktop users for now.
This feature is still in the development phase. Though Microsoft anticipates a wide release date of July 2022, so hang on tight it might appear within the next few days.
